It was dark and the inebriated guy was looking for something.
"Oh, I lost my keys."
"Under the street lamp?"
"Naaah, I lost them in the alley, but the light's better here!"
Some "administrators" (i.e. bureaucrats") in some universities have decided that it is essential that they need to "protect" the "feelings" of the coddled children of the Baby Boomers.
It seems that
"Western Michigan University, it is considered harassment to hold a "condescending sex-based attitude."
I see two Richter scale 10 problems with this approach, besides the mundane, feeble attempts by clueless wonders to brainwash and promulgate propaganda:
- It is address the minorist of problems, distracting from real but hard problems. It is far easier to harangue a student then to address issues of drugs, crime, rape, etc.,
Like the drunk under the street light "It's easier to look here" and - Who in the world are these clueless bot-replaceable wonders to set themselves up as judge/jury/executioner of the knowledge seeking students?
Are their un-reviewed/un-appealable "decisions" every published? Held accountable? Learned from? Nope. All under cover.
The University should be a time and place to learn new things, other peoples views, how to engage and interact with people.
